Micro-Abrasive Polish for Gelcoat and Boat Paint Koch-Chemie Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01"

Koch-Chemie Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" is your go-to for pulling swirls, holograms and fine scratches out of lightly weathered, dull gelcoat and boat paint. This hard-working machine polish mechanically clears even the finest defects and leaves an even finish. Thanks to its cut, it goes a long way, works easily and wipes off without a fight — the ideal prep before you lay down a sealant.

  • Pulls fine defects precisely: Clears swirls, holograms and fine scratches reliably.

  • Perfect prep for a sealant: Leaves a smooth surface, ideal for the protective layers that follow.

  • Easy to work with: Goes on easily, polishes off cleanly and is free of silicone oils.

Brings lightly weathered surfaces back to life

Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" was built for gelcoat and boat paint that show light weathering. It cuts through fine scratches, swirls and holograms — the kind you get from the elements or from working the surface. You can run it on a rotary or a dual-action machine, so it fits whatever you're holding.

Deep gloss on dark gelcoat and dark colours

Dark gelcoat and dark colours ask more of a polish, since they show every mark. Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" handles it with ease, pulling up a deep, even gloss that brings the original colour back. For an even finer result, follow up with a high-gloss polish like Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01".

Easy to use, with pro-level results

Working with Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" is simple and quick. For the best result, put five pea-sized drops on a suitable pad (e.g. Micro Cut Pad hard) and spread the product evenly in a cross-hatch pattern at low speed. Then polish it off with a rotary at around 1,000 rpm or a dual-action on its highest setting. Polish residue wipes off effortlessly with a microfibre cloth. For lasting protection to finish, reach for something like Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01", Marine Protective Sealant or Ceramic Boat Hull.
